Famille HugelFranceThe first traces of the Hugel family in Alsace can be traced back to the 15th century when Hans Ulrich Hugel settled in Riquehihr. In 1693, Hans was made a freeman of the city and took charge of a Corporation of Winegrowers. Joined by his son in 1672, they established the housein the Rue des Cordiers and solidified the legacy to come by carving the logo of their family above the doorway.
