The Collection 242 blend is dominated by Chardonnay which was of exceptional quality in the 2017 vintage. The perfectly ripe Chardonnay grapes lend the wine its aromas of ripe, sweet fruit complemented by subtle oaky notes. The palate is rich and ripe with a luxurious texture that coats the palate, the signature of an outstanding Chardonnay. The Pinot noir and Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne complete the wine’s broad, luscious, smooth and juicy character. The finish is energetic and fresh.

Carte Blache possesses a fine but very regular steam of persistent bubbles. It has a golden color shimmering with old-gold reflections and has sweet, ripe fruit on the nose with intensely floral, honeyed notes and hints of warm sugared almonds. The attack is rich and creamy, filling the mouth with flavor but without a trace of heaviness. the warmth and sweetness of the nose follows through on the palate, now dominated by the notes of crystallizede citrus. This adds a freshness that balances the wine's volume and creates a sense of lasting harmony.

Bright golden hue flecked with green. Slow, gentle and steady bubbles. Very pure, delicate and ethereal bouquet. Delicate hints of flowers (honeysuckle, jasmine), ripe, fine and almost roasted citrus fruit (citron). These are followed by iodised, sea-breeze aromas, combined with the warm, sweet notes of freshly-baked pastries. After a fresh, energetic entry to the palate, the wine is dense, delicately zesty and invigorating. A predominantly saline character overlays flavours of citrus fruit (orange), harvest (almond, wheat) and Madagascan vanilla. The soft, melting bubbles give way to a limestone freshness, revealing an end-palate that seems light and powdery at first, but which surprises us with a real acceleration on the finish created by its elegant tannins and roasted spices.

Bright yellow hue with slightly green tints and bubbles that are soft, creamy, fine and delicate. The bouquet is precise and mineral with notes of ripe citrus fruit and white, almost vanilla-like blossoms (pollen) and notes of freshly harvested wheat and almonds. The freshness of the bouquet comes through in the form of minty and iodised aromas (sea spray) which slowly evolve towards warmer notes of smoke, hot butter and toast. The palate is creamy and soft yet concentrated on entry. The wine, underpinned by the delicate bubbles, unfolds majestically. It offers us the sensation of ripe, concentrated juice carried by an incredibly powdery texture with a distinctly saline finish. Oaky and smoky notes continue to draw out the wine, giving it extra length and concentration, an indication of its exceptional cellar-ageing potential. The finish is pure, refreshing and mouthwatering.

The golden and deep yellow hue sparkles with luminous highlights as the bubbles rise. The bouquet is intense and precise, and notes of spring flowers, Williams pear, and citrus peel gradually emerge. Aeration produces a crescendo of aromas consisting of dried fruits (lightly grilled hazelnuts), a warm-stone character, smoky flavours, and cocoa beans. In the mouth, the wine is impressive: the palate is a rich array of flavours, youthful energy, and dynamism, with a wonderful blend and juxtaposition of acids, salinity, stones, fruit, and a creamy texture.

A light, bright and clear rosé. Fabulous! Fine, steady stream of bubbles, evenly distributed across the glass. Complex bouquet dominated by an almost minty freshness combined with zesty fruit, wild strawberry and raspberry. The nose opens out to reveal spicy and smoky notes, characteristic of the Pinot noirs grown in Cumières, along with aromas of dried fruit, roasted almonds and cocoa beans. Underlying saline notes, reminiscent of sea spray.

Orange hue with salmon pink tints. Patient, even effervescence. Spicy aromas of Sichuan pepper combined with sappy and floral notes of violet and gentian. Toast and mocha on the nose resulting in an elegant and concentrated bouquet. After aeration, intense fruity notes start to emerge along with concentrated notes of wild raspberries. The palate is fruity. The Pinot noir offers an intense fruitiness and a tight and juicy structure complemented by ripe, almost sweet tannins. The fruit and texture display remarkable depth and are starting to show a typical “Pinot” character.

Light, delicate soft pink hue.Bright, vibrant, ultra-fine bubbles. Refined bouquet of freshly-picked tart red fruit (wild strawberry, raspberry) and lemon scented flower petals. The pure, precise fragrances delicately intertwine and are gradually joined by overtones of fresh almonds, bread and spices (cocoa bean). These nuanced, intricately interwoven fragrances are ethereal and transcendent. Intense, velvety and captivating on the palate. What else would you expect after such perfume? The juicy, concentrated red fruit gradually pulls towards a raspberry liqueur character complemented by invigorating, sweet citrus aromas. The harmony and delicacy of the wine is reinforced by the creamy bubbles which create a sensation of roundness and concentration. The mineral freshness lengthens the palate; it becomes vertical, chalky, saline and sapid with a sensation of perpetual acceleration created by the pure, bright limestone.

Warm yellow hue with a deep core. Beautifully formed threads of bright, lively and ultrafine bubbles. The nose offers up juicy, crunchy notes of yellow fruit, toasted hazelnuts, honey, almonds and nougat. The restraint and delicacy of its aromas prevail, this Cristal needs to be understood in order to fully appreciate its nuances. The texture caresses the palate in gentle waves. The bubbles blend harmoniously into the wine's fabric and discreetly complement its everlasting, chalky freshness. This is a wine that is both generous and ripe yet remarkably restrained. The extraordinary finish is characterised by a powdery, saline freshness which gives it a light, ethereal and silky structure. Perfection.
