The Frey’s sold Champagne Ayala and bought the legendary estate of Jaboulet in the Rhone, which of course includes the crown jewel of the region, Jaboulet La Chapelle. Subtle and fruity, the tannins are supple and velvety. Just as the Cabernet Sauvignon contributes the body, the merlot in turn gives it its hearty aromas and lovely fullness.
