TENUTA GUADO AL TASSOItalyOwned by the Antinori family, the estate is located near Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast some 96 km from Florence. The estate consists of 300 hectares of vineyards planted to Vermentino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot. The first wine from the estate was released in 1990 and today the Tenuta Guado al Tosso produces a range of wines from crisp and lively Vermentino and Rosato through to more robust reds of great quality and character including a blend of the Bordeaux varieties called Guado al Tasso Bolgheri DOC Superiore and the Matarocchio, a 100% Cabernet Franc labeled under the Maremma Toscana IGT designation.7 products were found for ‘TENUTA GUADO AL TASSO’

The aromas - fruity but elegant and delicate as well - present both citric notes which give freshness and sweet sensations such as apricots and yellow peaches which give additional complexity. The flavors are fruity, well supported by the acidity and by mineral notes which add savor, vigor, and length.

Il Bruciato 2020 is an intense ruby red color. Its nose is intense and enticing with notes of currants, blackberries, delicate hints of vanilla and sweet spices. Excellent harmony on the palate where a fruity finish dominates and imparts good persistence and easy drinkability.

Guado al Tasso 2018 is an intense rubyred color. The nose opens with captivating notes of sweet spices and small dark ripe fruit, licorice root, leatherand tobacco. On the palate the tannins are graceful: silky on entryand vibrant on the finish. Guado al Tasso 2018 is harmonious with excellent balance and pleasantness, it’s most certainlyless powerful than the 2017 vintage, but perhaps for this reason is more refined and elegant.
