Rich and unctuous on the palate, the finish reveals some intense, liquorice like flavours.

Ample, fresh and fruity on the palate combining ripe red fruit with blackcurrant, raspberry and jammy sour cherry notes. Well-balanced structure revealing spicy flavours (liquorice, pepper). Soft resin notes and a touch of oak give the wine beautiful complexity. Fine tannins ensure a smooth, very harmonious texture in the finish.

The Gentil is aromatic, aperitive, yet dry and gastronomic. On the nose, it opens on yellow plums, rose, quince and citrus zests. Supple, the palate unfolds, pleasant, graceful, leading to a delicate, fresh finish.

Aroma of yellow fruit and floral notes with hints of fig, apricot, pear and the more typical notes of noble wood, waxed furniture and undergrowth. Light yet full-bodied with the property’s typical sense of equilibrium by a pleasantly acid structure.

Aromas are dashing, well-stated and floral, opening with hints of lily of the valley, elderflower and citrus zest. With age, it takes on rocky hints of flint, tinder, hydrocarbons. Lemon, lime and yusu zest roll around the mouth right up to the acidic, delicate and addictive final note.

The elegant, profound, complex and well-balanced flavour is perfectly structured over time by its beautifully mature acidity from which there is no sweetness to distract. This is a dry white wine.
