Fresh plum, dark cherry and earthy characters dominate the nose with hints of smoked meats, dense cocoa and thyme. The expansive palate is focused, rich and dense with a rustic core of dark cherry and black olive all perfectly interwoven with ripe plum and rich game characters. Meaty and complex the wine’s mineral strewn tannins and balanced acidity complete the composed, fragrant fruit profile.

Equally as enjoyable as an aperitif as it is with dessert, 2014 The Bothie displays beautifully fragrant aromas of fresh pine-lime, melon and lychee accompanied by extraordinary floral notes. The subtle, clean flavours of lemon sorbet, lemon tart and orange rind balance perfectly with the residual sugar creating a full, lush, round palate.

Typically it shows a pink grapefruit character, concentration and mid-palate texture, which reflect the carefully selected sites and hand harvesting during the small window of perfect ripeness. 2018 was a standout year. The growing season weather behaved well overall, giving us well-balanced acidity and good flavour development in the pink grapefruit, lavender spectrum.

"Very light colour leads into a restrained but strongly varietal bouquet of fresh and dried flower aromas. It's all about the fruit—not yeasty or estery. The palate is bright and alive, high-energy and crisp with a slight impression of sweetness at its heart before a properly dry and cleansing finish that lingers a long time. Superb flavour and intensity: a graceful wine that promises to reward extended cellaring." - 96 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review

Aiming for elegance, restraint and the ability to age, acid is bright and there’s generosity of flavour. Typically it shows white flowers, citrus, and nectarine notes. The 2016 vintage had even ripening conditions, and our elevated sites gave us flavoursome, precise Chardonnay.

An immediate sense of high quality. Jeez, this smells decadent in stone fruit and citrus, rich with spicy wood, lively with flinty mineral character. For your best roast chicken ever.

The blend component from the warmer sub-area of Macclesfield gives structure and richness, whilst Balhannah contributes spiciness and perfume.A vibrant, modern interpretation of Australian Shiraz.

It's smokey and reductive with clove and olive notes laced to hub of dark, brooding black cherry.

Delicate, fragrant, light to medium bodied but with deceptive power, silky tannins and medium term ageing potential. The 2018 vintage has a concentrated core of red berry fruits including raspberries and cherries. It is vibrant and more opulent than other years.

A Pinot Noir of delicacy and fragrance, with fresh acid, and subtle layers of flavour and texture. It has presence, grip, crunch and lots of perfume including notes of blood orange and Campari.
