Perfume is all pot pourri, dried cranberry, black olive, old spice cupboard and smoky paprika. Flavours similar, tannin chewy, grippy, well done. Grunty in a way, complex as all get out. An assertive expression, bolder than some years in its intensity and drive, but not without the hallmarks of great Sami Odi wines.

Lovely spice notes in the bouquet, clove, pepper, cedary notes, old leather, tobacco, then dark fruits, anise, plums. Lots going on between brooding fruit and savoriness. Tight tannins and crisp acidity keep the wine in check. It’s juicy, but crunchy-textured, very long in flavor, spicy, moody with blue and black berry fruit feel. It’s got a lot more structure than previous incarnations.

A suppleness up front in the palate, that soothing swish of dark fruit, cool acidity, then light peppery spice weaves its way in and there’s the detail… earth, mineral, elemental things, and a shuffle of ultra-fine, high class threads of velour tannin.

The palate is zippy, with a salivating mineral acidity. It has the perfect balance of freshly picked sweet citrus fruit on the front palate, finishing with refreshing hints of musk and grapefruit that brings you back for another glass.

Dark red with purple hues. Rich enticing scents of dark mulberries, cherries and plums with subtle vanilla. The palate is soft and supple offering delicious red fruit flavours with a hint of raspberry and cherry. Powdery tannins impart a gentle and elegant grip with fresh acidity and a pure red fruit drive.

Mouthwatering flavours of lime and citrus work in harmony with the fresh, natural acidity. Supple texture and savoury complexity from barrel fermentation enhance a powerful and complex wine that leave you with a lingering salty finish.

A charming combination of citrus blossom, lemon, lime and nashi pear, complemented by freshly picked tea leaf and jasmine. Instantly pleasing with lovely weight and texture. Lemon, lime and citrus flavours follow through on the palate with refreshing natural acidity, finishing crisp with a hint of musk.

Generous flavours of peach, lemon and lime drives length and tension through the palate. The refreshing mineral acidity, created by the summer sea breezes blowing through our vineyards, captures an element of saltiness and a spring water liveliness, which leaves you wondering where the bottle went.

The wine is medium bodied with flavours of plum, mulberry and redcurrant. The tannins are supple and balanced but drive the wine through your palate. The whole bunch inclusion helps to add complexity and spice leaving you with an intense mouth-filling and salivating finish.

Violets, cherries and cranberries spring from the glass in an alluring perfume. Lifted red fruits and subtle graphite injects a southern Margaret River fragrance. Medium bodied with a balance of prettiness and a supple, salivating structure. Raspberry and cherry fruit are complimented by subtle hints of vanillin from the beautiful French Oak. Forest floor and earthy characters are lifted by a touch of fresh cranberry.
